Game Master's Grimoire

Game Master's Grimoire is an owlbear rodeo extension that has a veriety of features. It helps players and GMs track health & initiative in combat, and also has a library of monster stat blocks from the Dungeons & Dragons 5e & Pathfinder 2e SRDs. dddice is deeply integrated into the tool allowing players to roll directly from stat blocks and see the dice rolls in owlbear rodeo, and in all other dddice connected tools.

Game Master's Grimoire

The extension works either independently from the dddice Owlbear Rodeo extension or in tandem with it. Either way, you can connect your dddice account to it and roll all the dice you have collected!

Setting Up​

As the GM​

  1. Navigate to your Owlbear Rodeo profile page
  2. Scroll down to "Extensions"
  3. Click the "ADD +" button
  4. Find Game Master's Grimoire in the extension's listing
  5. Edit your room to enable the dddice extension or enable it when you create a new room
  6. Open your Owlbear Rodeo Room
  7. Click the Game Master's Grimoire logo in the extensions toolbar in the upper-left corner
  8. (optional) Select the "Log & Settings" button in the bottom center of the popover
  9. (optional) Select "Connect my account" and follow the prompts
  10. ROLL

As a player​

  1. Join the Owlbear Rodeo game your GM tells you to
  2. Click the Game Master's Grimoire logo in the extensions toolbar in the upper-left corner
  3. (optional) Select the "Log & Settings" button in the bottom center of the popover
  4. (optional) Select "Connect my account" and follow the prompts
  5. ROLL

How To Roll​

  1. Use the "Quick Roll" button at the bottom of the popover
  2. Set roll macros with any of the "+" buttons
  3. Click on the roll buttons in any of the monster stat blocks you open
