Above VTT

dddice's Browser Extension pairs well with AboveVTT. Both the dddice browser extension and the AboveVTT browser extension integrate with D&D Beyond. When both are active all connected players to see your chosen 3D dice, when you click on any of the roll buttons AboveVTT provides.

Roll from your character sheet, from the custom roll menus and even the encounter builder & encounter tracker.

Setting Up​

  1. Install the dddice browser extension from the Chrome Web Store, the Edge Add-ons Store, or the Firefox Add-ons Store
  2. Install the AboveVTT browser extension from the Chrome Web Store, or the Firefox Add-ons Store
  3. Navigate to the D&D Beyond campaign you are playing
  4. Click on the extension menu in the navigation bar of your browser
  5. Click dddice browser extension
  6. Click "Create Room" or paste a room link into the "join room" box
  7. Wait for your dddice data to load into the extension
  8. Select the dice theme you want to roll
  9. Click on "Join AboveVTT" either as the GM or a player

Keep the "3D Dice Roll" setting turned on Hover over a rollable stat, attribute, or damage value to see a roll tool tip

Roll Using​

  • dddice logo or click to roll as normal
  • ADV to roll with advantage
  • DIS to roll with disadvantage
  • CRIT to roll double damage dice for a critical hit
  • Use the custom roll interface to roll any dice combo you want
